A Wintery Walk in the Pentlands

I recently went for an afternoon walk, up into the Pentland Hills (summiting Harbour Hill) and took the following photographs. Setting off from the Bonaly car park, at the Northern edge
of the Pentland Hills, you’re soon surrounded by nature and vast open landscapes. I find it shocking to reflect on the fact that this amazing resource is only a 20 minute drive from central Edinburgh.

With only the punishing Scottish wind and some hardy sheep for company, it was easy to get ‘lost’ in the landscape.

Clicking on individual photographs will allow you to view them in full sized glory. Enjoy.
